Adult Exploration Programs of the UU Congregation of Venice provide a learning environment through courses that value religious freedom, encourage open dialogue on questions of faith, and offer encouragement, assistance, guidance, and support to each individual in his/her search for a personal philosophy/theology to live by.
Our offerings include Sunday Forums, classes to enrich your spiritual journey, monthly discussions groups on various topics, and more.
Adult Exploration activities are open to all UUCOV members and contributing friends.

Doing Theology the Unitarian Universalist Way
Adult Religious Education led by Rev. Mike Young. Beginning May 8th & 9th through June 12 & 13, Wednesday evening 7:00 p.m. and Thursday Noon to 1:30 p.m. Pick one!
You can believe anything you want.
No, you can't; not without totally trivializing the notion of belief.
As a Unitarian Universalist you can believe what, in fact, you do believe. Indeed, we are less interested in what you believe that what you behave as if you believed. That is, what are your commitments?
We'll look at a number of UU theologians, ancient and more contemporary. We'll explore the traditional categories of religious belief and the criteria of meaning in the modern world.
No answers, but lots and lots of questions.

The UUCOV Adult Exploration Committee is pleased to offer you this list of opportunities to expand your horizons and meet new people during the 2013 Spring/Summer season. Our offerings include outings, lectures, classes, theatre, and more. Events and deadlines will be posted on the UUCOV Calendar.
