BookClub1Book Club
The Book Club meets in Waters Hall A at 1:30pm on the second Thursday of the month. On December 14th we will discuss “The Girl Who Fell From the Sky” by Heidi W. Durrow.


Mindfulness Meditation
The Mindfulness Meditation group meets Wednesdays, Waters Hall from 6-7:30pm. After the meeting on December 6, the group will take a holiday break and resume on January 3. During the months of January and February, the facilitator will be Julie Jons. Her focus will be the Brahmanic (now Hindu) tradition into which the Buddha was born. Linda Kabo will return to lead the group on March 14.


 Plato's Circle
Plato's Circle meets first Wednesdays of the month at Asta Linder B, 1-3pm.plato



Socrates Cafe
Socrates Cafe are gatherings around the world where people from different backgrounds get together and exchange thoughtful ideas and experiencessocratescolor while embracing the central theme of Socratizing, the idea that we learn more when we question and question with others. Beginning in December, our Café will meet every third Wednesday of the month in Waters Hall A at 1pm. Spread the word that the general public is welcome and invited.

Writer’s Support Group
Share your writing - poetry or prose - fiction or your own life journey - in a supportive environment of fellow writers on the 1st and 3rd Mondays, 1-3pm, Waters Hall. Call Sylvia Hancock 360-460-8593 for additional information.

Sleeping Mats for the Homeless
Meet in Waters Hall on Saturday, December 2 and 16, 10am-12pm. We need all types of workers: bag cutters, plarn (plastic yarn) makers, and especially crocheters! There is on-the-job training!!! Contact Judy Heipel 813-924-3387.
