UUCOV Library

Exciting News: UUCOV Library Going Digital!

We’re thrilled to announce that the UUCOV Library is in the process of moving its collection online! The library, located in Waters Hall, is currently being cataloged using the Dewey Decimal system and the LibraryThing app.  Soon you’ll be able to explore our entire collection from your own computer, tablet, or smartphone.

A Rich and Growing Collection

Our library currently holds around 600 titles, covering topics such as social justice, women’s health, spiritual beliefs, world religions, caregiving, and what it means to be a Unitarian Universalist. Some titles have multiple copies for group discussions!

We’re also excited to expand our collection with a special focus on banned books. If you have any well-maintained banned books to donate, we’d love to add them to our collection and make them accessible to all.

Donation Guidelines

Please hold off on general book donations until the cataloging process is complete in the Fall.

We NEED your help to Catalog and Process Books and Archive items

Both projects have end dates, so you can get involved without a long-term commitment.

We plan to work through the summer. on Tuesday mornings from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Please reach out to Cathay Keough for more information and to volunteer.
