Mother’s Day. On Mothers’ Day, we might need to be reminded that mothers are neither the omniscient, nurturing saints nor the omnipotent, controlling tyrants we make them out to be.  No matter what our psyches do with them, the best moms are forever real and ultimately human.

Diwali and the Light Inside

Join us for Diwali; India’s biggest and most important holiday of the year. The festival gets its name from the row (avali) of clay lamps (deepa) that Indians light outside their homes to symbolize the inner light that protects from spiritual darkness.
