Join us on October 26 at 3:00 PM for a screening of The Librarians, a documentary directed by Kim A. Snyder about librarians fighting against book banning and censorship in the U.S.

The film features real library professionals like Carolyn Foote, Amanda Jones, Suzette Baker, and Martha Hickson as they face political pressure, protests, and harassment for defending free speech and the First Amendment. It shows how local schools and libraries become battlegrounds in broader efforts to restrict books on race, gender, history, and LGBTQIA+ topics.

A brief discussion will follow the film. All are welcome!
