Socrates Cafe – A gathering to discuss important ideas and issues. Topics are picked at the start of each 90-minute session. Enjoy thoughtful discussion reflecting participants’ unique experiences and perspectives in an atmosphere of support and respect.  All are welcome! Mat Making – Mat-making meets on the first and third Saturdays of each month from 10:00am – 12:00pm in Waters Hall B. These sleeping mats for the homeless are made from recycled grocery bags. Finished mats are currently being delivered to the Charlotte County Homeless Coalition. If you’d like to join us, contact Janet Knudsen at janet@knudsen3.com or 781-424-0660.


 

Arts and Crafts Group – Bring any art supplies you have that you would like to work with, or we will have extra that you can use.  We will share our techniques with each other and have an occasional demo by one of our groups. Writer’s Group

The UUCOV Writers’ Group meets on the first and third Monday of each month. We welcome members and friends of UUCOV who wish to share (read) some of their writings. Readings may be up to 15 or more minutes, depending on the number of participants. Attendees are not required to read at each meeting and comments by other members must be constructive only.  Readers may choose to receive no comments if they wish. Green Grounds Group

The Green Grounds Group welcomes everyone who likes to get outdoors and make the world a greener place. We do work around the campus and in our edible and pollinator gardens. Contact Donna Jewett to get involved. ddjewett711@gmail.com.
